WOW!!! It's been 2 months since I've written. I actually thought I was going to forego my blog because it was such a long time before I could finally sit down to write. A lot has gone on in the past couple of months. Instead of writing a novel, I'll give a little snapshot!
End of May-June 17:
We went to visit Memaw and Pepaw in St. Louis for THREE WEEKS!!! It was so great! We got to see our Aunt Annie and Uncle Jeremy in the first week of our vacation, which was a complete bonus. The weather there was nice and we did a lot of swinging on the tree swings outside, playing in the pool, playing at playgrounds, going for walks and stroller runs, and exploring what St. Louis has to offer children (LOTS!!). Three weeks flew by and we were sad to leave but so happy for the length of time we were able to visit!

June 18-July 31:
When we got home from St. Louis, we hit the ground running with our packing for CT. It was a crazy process--one which I learned many things from. For example, ALWAYS have an extra set (or two, or three) of hands to help with loading and unloading a moving truck. Our move was pretty smooth for the most part, we had a lot of help with the kids (thanks Keisha and Crissy) which allowed Terry and I to pack our 22 foot truck up and head down to our new house.
From doing changes of address to unpacking and organizing, from working to becoming stay-at-home mother of two energetic boys, from leaving a place I have lived all of my life and feeling comfortable and certain to a place where I have never been (besides a couple of visits years before)--a place completely opposite of what I am used to..it has been quite the experience! Crazy, fun, scary, exciting, anxiety ridden...my emotions are all over the place!! I love our new house, I love spending time with the boys, and I love how happy Terry is in his job--it is just scary to be unemployed right now!!
I am realizing too, that I have done what I said I wouldn't do and that's write a novel...so, I will end with another facebook album link to show what we have done so far (unfortunately, I never took before and after shots of the house and all of the improvements we have made already, but, let me just say...WHOA!!! we have increased the property value of this place just by taking care of the yard and the garage...that was a project and 1/2).
